Wimbledon U17s 1-0 Spurs

Jimmy Neighbour out this disappointing defeat down as a one-off performance.

He reflected: "We didn't play well. Perhaps it was a hangover after the Christmas break and it was our first game back, but that was the same for Wimbledon as well.

"The goal came about five minutes from time, a decent strike from the edge of the box but the warning signs were there.

"We didn't pass the ball well, our movement was poor, we lacked inventiveness and although we didn't perhaps deserve to lose it, we didn't deserve to win it either.

"It's a shame because we did really well on the run up to Christmas, the lads were playing well so I'll give them this one and hope it's a one-off performance.

"Hopefully it will be a wake-up call for them and they'll be back showing what they can do by next weekend."
