Charlton U19s 3-0 Spurs

Pat Holland felt the final scoreline was harsh on his Under-19s after Charlton struck twice in injury time.

The first half was even but the home side opened the scoring early in the second half.

Coach Pat pushed players on in the final quarter only for Charlton to score from a dubious penalty in injury time and then add a third with the last kick of the game.

Pat reflected: "The first half wasn't a great game and both sides cancelled each other out. Neither side created a great deal.

"In the second half Charlton were a little brighter and opened the scoring with a ball in from their left that I thought we could have dealt with a little better.

"We brought on Marcel McKie and pushed Phil Ifil forward in the last 15 to see if we could get anything out of it.

"But then there was a strange decision that the linesman called, something happened in the box from a corner that he considered a penalty offence. So out of nothing they've got a penalty and we're 2-0 down.

"They then scored with the last kick of the game. I thought the scoreline was a bit harsh on our lads, they worked hard, put the effort but in the last five minutes we've lost a bit of credability with the scoreline."

Spurs U19s: Eyre, Ifil, Francis (McKie, 70), Hicks, Hodges (Watson, 80), Dobson, Barcham, Thyer, Malcolm, O'Hara, Daniels.
