THE FIRST half-hour at Anfield was probably our best of the season. Liverpool were on a high, the crowd were on a high because of the European success and we silenced them a bit. We played terrific football for much of the first half and scored a terrific goal, but it was disappointing to concede an equalise so close to the break.
Erik Edman scored a great goal. I've never even seen him doing something like that in training! I tell him every day to keep the ball down and make sure he hits the target but it doesn't always happen. But it certainly was not a lucky goal.
We picked ourselves up in the second half and scored again. We coped well even though they tried two different systems, but we wanted to win as well and decided to stick with two strikers right to the end.
Overall I was happy with the draw and although Liverpool could have won it late on I thought it was just the right result in the game.
