THINGS DON'T SEEM to be happening for us at the moment and it is very disappointing - we have played three away games and haven't scored. Charlton scored an unbelievable goal and that can happen but, after that, you know you have to score.
I think they were more aggressive at the back and we weren't going forward. We had four chances in the first half including two one on ones against the keeper which you must score from. When you don't you are fighting against yourself.
We should have kept cool heads, but they scored a second just before the end and it was over. It is disappointing because I was hoping for full points from this week and we played better than Newcastle in the FA Cup, but didn't score.
We will put it right in the future because it is not as if we are playing badly. We won't blame each other, we are a young team and sometimes we lack a little bit of experience.
It was a scrappy game, particularly in the second half, but it shouldn't be forgotten that we played a tough game on Sunday. We played in their half for much of the game without creating enough and we have to work on that.
