It was a bad outcome for us against Crystal Palace on Saturday. When you are down 1-0 you want to do something, we let in a second out of nothing, then went three down and were chasing shadows.
It was very disappointing for us, I think we were the better team in the first half but we had a problem up front. You saw it against Brighton and Chelsea, we missed having the option of a big man. When you don't have a target you struggle to hold up the ball and you have a problem.
When you don't score it is always possible to lose a match and we did that here.
I don't like to use the lack of a big striker like Fredi as an excuse, Robbie and Jermain are very good players, but sometimes you miss somebody who can hold up the ball and is strong in the air.
It was disappointing that we couldn't create a lot, although Dean Marney had a couple of shots. I thought we played a bit better than them, but that doesn't mean anything when you lose 3-0.
Reto Ziegler pulled his hamstring and we have to look at that. It is a blow, but we were able to bring back Thimothee Atouba and he did alright considering he hasn't played recently.
