PEOPLE SAY West Brom have been playing well over the last few weeks, but I think they have been playing well for the last couple of months and it was another stubborn performance from them against us at the Lane.
They have been picking up results, we knew they had taken some confidence from the games they have played against us before - although we had a win the last time, it needed a penalty to get us level.
In the first half we couldn't find an opening and, with Robbie and Jermain up front, we needed to be a bit more creative. We had to change a couple of things at half-time, Sean Davis was playing well but I had to take him off to put Mido on. Thimothee Atouba is better in the air and Gera was providing a threat and I felt we had to push up on him.
We did that and they had to change their shape two or three times. I thought we would win the game, just before and after our goal we were playing well, then they bought the big man Moore on at the back and the threat of Mido in the air was a bit less.
Then you need a bit of luck or a bit of brilliance, but it wasn't to be. They looked dangerous on the break for an away team, but I am still disappointed we didn't score a second goal.
We have had three draws in our last five games and people say that might be alright, but you have got to win your home games. If we had done that we would have been in a good position.
We have a new and young team who are on the fringe, I am disappointed but I can only give them compliments. They worked hard and did everything they could.
