Dean Marney has left the Club to join Championship side Hull City on a three-year contract.

The Academy graduate, 22, turned professional in July 2002 and made his Premiership debut on the opening day of the 2003-04 season as a substitute in the away fixture at Birmingham City. He had previously sampled League football during a loan period at Swindon Town.

Further loans - at QPR and Gillingham - followed before Dean made the headlines in a Spurs shirt on New Year's Day 2005 with a two-goal show against Everton at the Lane.

He began last season on loan at Norwich before returning and playing a part in our Reserve side's winning of the league title.

We thank Dean for his contribution and wish him every success for the future.
