First team coach Marcos Alvarez offers his latest insight into pre-season training as preparations continue for the big kick-off.

Day 6, July 8
"TUESDAY started with endurance work, this time looking at different kinds of movement and with football boots on, rather than trainers, to get more of a match-day feel.
"It was a high-pace session for appoximately one hour and then we went to the gym for another hour.
"We now have two or three sessions a day, combining fitness and ball work.
"This part of the season is very important - we are charging the battery for the season. We are happy with the players, they are all working at the same pace and that's good for the squad as a whole."
