Gus Poyet has told the lads to make sure they have 'no regrets' when they step off the pitch after tonight's Carling Cup semi-final against Arsenal.

The tie is poised at 1-1 after the first leg at the Emirates Stadium and it's winner takes all tonight - a place in the final at Wembley Stadium against either Everton or Chelsea.

"I would love to be playing!" smiled Gus, who did exactly that when we last reached a final - the famous semi-final win against Chelsea in 2002. "It's the perfect game for us and afterwards we can have no regrets, no doubts about what we've done and we have to go home happy in every way with the performance.

"I know, I'm sure, that if we put in the same display that we produced at the Emirates we can win this game.

"So it's up to us to prove that we can play in the same way in this time at home, with everyone behind us. It could be amazing.

"The important thing for us is to concentrate for 90 or 120 minutes minutes. We know we can score, we have to make sure we prevent them from scoring and that will be enough.

"It will be the game that no-one wants to miss. I'm convinced this will be the day."
