Major game - Joe

Joe Jordan has underlined the importance of Sunday’s match against Chelsea.

We take on last season’s double winners and this season’s early pacesetters in a 4pm kick-off in the Barclays Premier League at the Lane.

Chelsea started the campaign with five straight wins, racking up 21 goals along the way including back-to-back 6-0s.

But by their very high standards they’ve stumbled of late and make the journey from west London to N17 without a win in four league games.

“It’s a major game for us,” said first team coach Joe. “We’re on a good run, we’re at White Hart Lane and we have the chance to catch up on a team above us.

“Chelsea won the double last season and if you asked me at the start of the season, I would say they were favourites to win the Premier League again and retain their title.

“The way they started the season proved that point. But it's a long season and they are in a bit of a trough at the moment and the teams around and about have caught up.

“That's what we want to do. We want the opportunity in a home game to get the three points and see if we can get a little closer.”
