Magpies flying again

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Chris Hughton says that Saturday's opponents Newcastle have got their season firmly back on track after a sticky start to the season.

Champions League elimination to Partizan Belgrade was a severe blow to the club and Premiership form suffered as a result with the Magpies slipping into the lower reaches of the table for a short while.

However, Sir Bobby Robson's side are now progressing in the UEFA Cup, sit seventh in the Premiership and are considered to be one of the favourites to capture what is potentially a lucrative fourth place in the final standings.

"They are entitled to get the season back on track and everybody expected them to because of the quality they have got," reasoned Chris.

"When a team like that are going through a difficult period it is only a matter of time before they start turning it around. They have turned it around and St James Park is always a very daunting place to go.

"It is a very passionate crowd and we haven't always had the best of fortunes up there, although we have had some decent performances," added Chris, who hopes our own recent form will stand us in good stead this time around.

"We are going into it on the back of two good results and we will be better for that."
