Mabbutt and Waddle on comeback trail

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Sunday 13th October sees the "Best of British" football masters team take on their European counter-parts in "Europe United" Masters Football.

Masters Football is a 6-a-side tournament for the over 35's and the British Football Team includes the likes of Gary Mabbutt, Neville Southall, Clayton Blackmore, Ray Wilkins, Chris Waddle, John Barnes, Ally McCoist, Tony Cottee & Ian Rush. This is the first time in over 45 years that there has been a British Football Team.

The competition will draw three other European Masters Teams from Northern, Southern and Central Europe.

"Europe United" is being held to celebrate Europe's largest ever expansion as up to 13 different countries prepare to join the European Union. The football will celebrate the best of Europe and remind us that a united Europe is a better Europe.

The tournament, to be held at London Arena, will start at 5pm on the 13th October. Adults £12, Children, (under 14), £8 and Family Ticket, (2 + 2) for £35.
