Capped 39 times and a key player for his country, Milenko beamed: "This is a big club. I knew that before I even came here. It's a special club here in England.
"I am very, very happy. I've looked around the ground, the stadium is beautiful, nice fans, every game here is full.
"I know the Premier League is very hard. They play hard football and there are a lot of good teams and every game is a big game. I know that it will be a lot of hard work for me to play in England because there are only very good players in this league."
The 25-year-old was elevated to superstar status in his home country after scoring a crucial goal against Ukraine to take Slovenia into the European Championships in 2000.
He was on target again as Slovenia beat Romania over two legs to reach this summer's World Cup Finals.
There will be more from Milenko on the Official Spurs Website tomorrow

We were second to Partisan, but it was a good season, we were two times championship, now we are second. I think the club will also win the cup.

His full attention is now with Slovenia and the World Cup in Japan and South Korea.
A superstar in Slovenia after scoring the vital goal against Ukraine to qualify for Euro 2000, Milenko was at it again when it mattered when he scored in the World Cup play-off against Romania.
Slovenia face Spain, Paraquay and South Africa in Group B kicking-off against the highly-fancied Spanish on June 2 - just under a month away.
"We start our work for the World Cup on May 8," said Milenko. "We don't expect a lot for this World Cup. We just want to play well.
"If we lose to Spain, okay, they are a very good national team but we think we can play well against Paraguay and South Africa. We have a chance to be second and we hope to reach the knockout stage."
As for that goal to reach Euro 2000, Milenko recalled: "This moment is the best in my career.
"It was a very important goal for Slovenia because it meant we went to the European Championship. It is one time in a life a player makes a goal like this."
When I come here in June we will start a new life, myself, my wife and my baby. She was only born yesterday. I have Goran to show me everything in London. Tottenham is a great club, London is a great city and I can't see any problems. I haven't seen my baby yet. I will see her tonight. It is a girl we called Clara.
Milenko Acimovic has expressed his delight after agreeing to join us this afternoon.
