As a result of a number of incidents which have given cause for concern regarding the safety of autograph seekers and players and staff - and following discussions and advice from the Police - the Club has had to take the decision to prohibit players and coaching staff from stopping and signing autographs at the gates of Spurs Lodge or anywhere along Luxborough Lane and the near vicinity.

Luxborough Lane is a public road, used regularly by vehicles for general access and to access their own as well as council properties. As such, large numbers of people congregating around cars and cars being stopped at undesignated points, poses a very real safety risk to both pedestrians and drivers.

Players regularly sign autographs at White Hart Lane's Paxton Road entrance following every home game and the Club arranges signings at its stores in Tottenham and Harlow during the school holidays.
