Luka Modric says 'every game is like a cup final' in the run-in - starting with West Brom at the Lane on Saturday.
We go into the match just two points behind City and have the chance to leapfrog them into fourth in the Premier League with a win.
But Luka knows that will be no easy task against a West Brom team in as good form as anyone in the Premier League at present.
Roy Hodgson took over from Roberto Di Matteo in February and inspired a run of six matches unbeaten that lifted the Baggies six points clear of the drop zone.
That unbeaten run included a win against Hodgson's former club Liverpool and a draw against Arsenal and was only ended at the seventh match by Chelsea last weekend.
So midfield maestro Luka - who scored in our 1-1 draw at the Hawthorns in September - knows exactly what to expect.
"West Brom have been fighting to stay in the league and have been on a great run lately," he told our official programme for Saturday's encounter.
"They changed their coach and lost only once. They have really improved since he took over and it will be another hard game, like they always are in the Premier League.
"It is such a hard division and it shows in the results. Teams at the bottom can beat the best in the country and you can never think you are going to win any match, you have to work for every single point. It's what makes it the best league in the world.
"For us now though, every game is like a cup final. We need to win every one because we are fighting with Manchester City for fourth and Liverpool are just behind us.
"There is no room for error - I just hope we can do it."
