Luka Modric is pleased with his current form but admits he is itching to get himself on the scoresheet for the first time as a Spurs player.
The Croatian midfielder has been a constant threat to defences in recent games and it looks only a matter of time before he breaks his duck.
But Luka also concedes that this is not the most important thing on his mind at the moment - and he will be happy as long as the team keep performing.
Going into tonight's Carling Cup fourth round clash with Liverpool at The Lane, Modric also praised the form of free-scoring team-mate Darren Bent.
"We are going into this game with plenty of confidence and I hope we can repeat the result we got against them in the league a couple of weeks ago," said Luka.
"I am happy with my own game but know I have to start scoring goals myself now - that's what I have to add to my game.
"I've come close a couple of times, and I was denied by some good saves from the goalkeeper against Manchester City on Sunday.
"But I know that if I keep getting the chances I will eventually find the back of the net.
"As for Darren, he's a great player and he's scoring a lot of goals, so as an attacking midfield player it is enjoyable to be playing off him at the moment."
