Luka Modric and Niko Kranjcar took time out from our training schedule to visit two 'Kidango' projects in San Jose on Friday.
The Croatian internationals hooked up with Justin Morrow and Jason Hernandez of our club partners San Jose Earthquakes to visit the Arbuckle Children's Centre and Linda Vista Child Development Centre.
The quartet paired up at both visits with Luka and Justin together and Niko and Jason.
The children split into two groups at both schools and the pairs of players gave football clinics to the kids, teaching the basic skills like passing and heading.
Both teams gave away goodies and the players signed autographs.
"It's always great to come out and meet the kids," said Niko. "You see the smiles on their faces and they appreciate seeing you.
"It was fun to have a kick around with them and to see them enjoying football. They loved it as well - there were a few decent footballers in there!"
