Harry Redknapp sung the praises of Luka Modric after the midfield maestro's display in the 2-0 win against Newcastle.
The Croatian playmaker was outstanding in a minefield of a midfield up against the likes of Alan Smith, Joey Barton and Cheiz Tiote.
Down to 10 men for the final 25 minutes following Younes Kaboul's red card, Luka pulled the strings from the central area and set-up our clinching second goal from Gareth Bale with nine minutes remaining.
"Luka was amazing in the middle of the park," said Harry. "The little guy was in there against three aggressive midfielders and to do what he did was superb.
"He was strong under pressire, aggressive, powerful and they couldn't get near him. He was on another level.
"It was a great performance in my opinion under difficult circumstances."
Victory made it 10 matches unbeaten in all competitions and lifted us into fourth place in the Barclays Premier League.
