First team coach Luis will take his place alongside Andre Villas-Boas and his coaching team for our first home match of the Premier League campaign as West Brom make the trip to N17.
“I’ve been as a spectator before, now I have a professional feeling and it’s an opportunity to feel that amazing environment,” said Luis.
The former Sporting Lisbon coach reiterated the determination from Andre and the squad to turn last week’s fine display at Newcastle into points on the board against West Brom.
“First of all, in the Premier League, there is no easy game,” he added.
“It’s a game to try and win, a game to try to get the first victory for the Spurs fans, because they deserve it.”
And Luis says he’s loving his time at the club. “I’m really enjoying it. I appreciate the mentality and reception the players have given me. I’m very pleased to be here, very honoured. I feel I have all the conditions here to do my work for Spurs.”
