Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Spurs Ladies have been rocked by a Christmas tragedy.
Team member Lucy Pinnock, just 21, died in a motorcycle accident in Waltham Abbey on Boxing Day. She was a police constable in the Metropolitan Police.
Club spokeswoman Kay Lovelock issued this statement:
“Lucy was in her second spell with Tottenham Hotspur Ladies having first joined as a 14-year-old. She actually spent a couple of seasons with local rivals Tesco Country Club before returning to Tottenham.
“In her first spell she was one of the goalscorers in the reserve team’s proud victory over Wembley Mill Hill in the very first Sue Sharples Trophy Final.
“A pleasant, shy girl, Lucy possessed much skill and an eye for goal — a point proved this season with nine goals to her credit. She was equally comfortable in midfield or indeed centre-half.
“The players and all backroom staff, along with regular supporters are in deep shock at this moment but hope to be able to fulfil their fixtures against Colney Heath at Frederick Knight Sports Ground on January 7th and the reserves away to West Ham Reserves on the same day.
“All our thoughts are with her family at this time.”
<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
