Chris Hughton takes a look back at England's storming win over Denmark on Saturday and says Eriksson's men are going from strength to strength.
ENGLAND DID VERY well and put in probably their best performance of the World Cup.
I think what they have been able to do is gage the situations well. They haven't been outstanding in all their games, but they did what was needed to get the points required to get out of the group stage and have now overcome Denmark in knock-out.
I've got to say that they have got better as the tournament has gone on.
England are quite resolute in their approach. What they haven't been prepared to do, if I looked at the Ireland-Spain game, it was very open for long periods of the game - England haven't been prepared to make their games that open.
What will be interesting, if Brazil get through, is what their approach will be then. Because, obviously Brazil are a side that thrives on an open game. I think that's what England's tactics have been, they do not want to allow sides to play.
