Jermain Defoe made a welcome return to full training on Tuesday.
The striker - back from just over two months out with an ankle injury - took a full part in the session with the emphasis on short, sharp work.
With a host of players away on international duty, the group completed a warm-up and then went into acceleration work.
From there, it was possession games and then a fast sprint and finishing routine with JD looking as sharp as ever.
Training ended with a number of four-on-four, high-intensity matches over a smaller pitch.
MEANWHILE, Heurelho Gomes couldn't resist having a go on the Spurs Xtra camera after his goalkeeping session with Tony parks had finished.
The popular keeper took three or four pictures - one, Xtra has to report, of the grass as he tried to snap Wilson Palacios having a shot - but he did manage to frame a tussle between JD and Giovani, which is below.
He then stood delighted as Ben Alnwick and Oscar Jansson produced a series of fine saves in the four-on-four matches at the end of the main session. "Look, goalkeepers on top again," he beamed.
