Adel Taarabt grabbed an important winner for QPR against Swansea City in the Championship on Saturday.

The Moroccan international striker swooped to score in the 82nd minute to secure a 2-1 win and keep the Rs play-off hopes alive.

Chris Gunter played his second game for Forest, a 1-0 loss at home to title favourites Wolves in the Championship.

Academy players Andros Townsend and Jon Obika made their Football League debuts for Yeovil Town and were heavily involved as the Glovers picked up a big point against promotion-chasing MK Dons.

Both played the full 90 minutes and were soon joined by Spurs team-mate Danny Hutchins, who came on as substitute for injured player-manager Terry Skiverton after 36 minutes.

Striker Jon had a goal disallowed in the first half while winger Andros was fouled for a penalty that was missed by Gavin Tomlin and later had a fine effort saved by MK keeper Willy Gueret.

Dorian Dervite has had positive reviews during his time at Southend and he played his 12th game for the Shrimpers on Saturday, a 3-0 win against Carlisle. Southend have won nine of the games he's played since his debut on January 31.

Troy Archibald-Henville played 90 minutes in his 12th appearance for Exeter City in League Two but the Grecians went down at Accrington Stanley. They are still very much in the play-off picture in sixth.

The news wasn't so good on Giovani dos Santos, who was forced off after 25 minutes of Ipswich's goalless draw against Watford with a groin injury.

We had two unused substitutes as Luton Town beat Macclesfield 1-0 in League Two - goalkeeper David Button was on the bench for the Hatters, Kyle Fraser-Allen for Macclesfield.

Finally, keeper Lee Butcher saved a penalty as his St Albans side drew 1-1 against Newport County in the Blue Square (Conference) South.
