Chris Hughton gives us the latest reports on our players currently out on loan.

Unfortunately both Dean Marney (Achilles) and Mounir El Hamdaoui (dislocated shoulder) had their loan spells cut short by injury.

However, Chris gave us the following rundowns…

Tom Huddlestone (Wolves)
“Tom's done well and the most important thing from our point of view as that he was going to play. The fact he's played in every game is the value for us. He also scored his first goal. We're delighted with how he's done and we all saw how he played in the England Under-21 games against France as well.â€Â

Calum Davenport (Norwich)
“Calum has also played every game since he's been there. We're fully aware that when we allow lads to go out on loan we want them to play games but we're also realistic enough to know if they don't do well enough to play in every game managers won't just pick them because they've been taken on loan. Calum has played every game and that speaks volumes for his performances."

Mark Yeates (Colchester)
"Yeatesy’s done very well. I saw him play a couple of weeks ago at home to Blackpool when Colchester won the game and he had a very good first half in particular. He's in a league where on average the teams would be more direct than what he's been used to and he's had to cope with that and play amongst that with the physical attributes you need to play at that level.â€Â

Marton Fulop (Coventry)
“The Championship is a tough league but he's at a good club with a lovely new stadium. I'm sure they would prefer to be at the other end of the table but he's getting good work and being tested there, which is exactly why he went out on loan in the first place.â€Â

Phil Ifil (Millwall)
“Millwall have drawn a couple of games I'm sure they will say they should really have won to edge away from the bottom of the table but Phil is another one who has played well. For such a young man - remember he only signed professional forms last year - that was a tough one to go into, bottom of the Championship, but he's performed well enough to play in most of the games since he's been there. He has picked up a bit of a groin injury though and that's why he missed out at the weekend.â€Â
