Loan watch

Nathan Byrne helped Brentford to a point against Notts County in an eventful encounter in League One at Griffin Park on Tuesday night.

The defender came on after 64 minutes for the second appearance of his loan spell with the Bees trailing 1-0 but County already down to 10 men following Jon Harley's dismissal.

Brentford equalised through Karleigh Osbourne, County went down to nine men and then, in the final minute, the home side were awarded a penalty that Robbie Simpson struck against the post.

Full-back Nathan, 18, made his league debut as substitute in Saturday's 1-0 win against Bristol Rovers.

Our players on loan at Leyton Orient are in the spotlight again tonight (Wednesday) when the O's travel to the Emirates to take on Arsenal in an FA Cup fifth round replay.

Tom Carroll has a chance of starting having played the second half in the original 1-1 draw at Brisbane Road and then another 90 minutes at Huddersfield on Saturday.

Paul Jose M'poku also has a chance to feature but Harry Kane misses out through suspension after being sent off for two yellow cards at Huddersfield.
