Loan watch

Jamie O'Hara had the best of what was a pretty miserable weekend for our players on loan.

The midfielder played the full 90 minutes as Portsmouth beat Wigan 4-0 to register their first home win in the Barclays Premier League and second in total this term.

Jamie won rave reviews and was involved in the third goal at Fratton Park.

Adel Taarabt scored another fine goal for QPR but Rangers' fine recent run in the Championship came to an end against with a 2-1 defeat against Leicester City on Friday.

Jake Livermore played 79 minutes as Derby provided the opposition for Ipswich Town's first win in the Championship on Saturday, a 1-0 win at Portman Road.

Danny Rose came off the bench after 38 minutes for Peterborough United but Posh lost out 2-1 at home to Barnsley and stay in the Championship's relegation zone.

Andros Townsend played 90 minutes for Leyton Orient and set-up the second goal to hand the O's a 2-0 lead against Southampton in League One. However, the Saints hit back for a 2-2 draw. Lee Butcher was an unused substitute.

Ryan Mason, Jon Obika and Steven Caulker all started for Yeovil against Leeds United.

Striker Jon forced a fine early save out of Leeds' keeper Casper Ankergren and later had a penalty appeal turned down as the division's runaway leaders eventually ran out 4-0 winners in front of 25,000 at Elland Road.

Oscar Jansson and Troy Archibald-Henville remained on the bench as Exeter beat Brentford 3-0 at St James Park.
