Jon Obika was on target again for Yeovil Town on Tuesday night.

The young striker made it two goals in three games but it came too late to prevent the Glovers going out of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy at Bournemouth.

Obika entered the fray at half-time with his side 1-0 down and it was 2-0 when he netted from close range three minutes from time. The scoreline stayed 2-1 at Dean Court, Steven Caulker was an unused substitute.

Ben Alnwick was back in goal for Norwich City after suffering a nasty gash to his face against Sunderland last week. It was a happy return for the goalkeeper as he kept a clean sheet in the Canaries' 1-0 win against Brentford at Carrow Road.

Meanwhile, Adam Smith returned to the Wycombe starting line-up against Northampton. The young full-back played a full shift as the tie went to extra time and then penalties after finishing 2-2. It wasn't good news in the shoot-out though as Wycombe missed their first three penalties and went out 3-0.
