Connor Ogilvie netted his first ever senior goal to help Stevenage to a home victory against Plymouth Argyle in League Two on Saturday.

Our on-loan defender got forward from left back and fired the hosts in front with a placed finish from the left side of the penalty box after just six minutes, Teddy Sheringham’s side going on to win the game 2-1.

Connor completed the full match in what was his third consecutive start for Boro.

It was also a memorable weekend for Nathan Oduwa, who was named Man of the Match for Rangers on his first league start for the Scottish Championship side on Saturday.

The young attacker earned high praise from boss Mark Warburton for his contribution to a 5-0 home win over Raith Rovers, his slaloming runs causing problems for the visiting defence throughout.

Indeed, having set up Rangers’ second goal, he skipped past three Raith defenders and slid the ball across in the build-up to the hosts’ third (video below), before later winning the penalty which led to his side’s fifth.

The 19-year-old was withdrawn after 70 minutes, while defender Dominic Ball was an unused substitute for the hosts.
