Loan watch - Alex and Azza on target

Alex Pritchard netted his ninth goal of the season for Brentford as they staged a late fightback to draw 2-2 at home to Millwall in the Championship on Saturday.

Trailing 2-0 with five minutes to go, midfielder Alex scored from the penalty spot to reduce the deficit, before Moses Odubajo netted a 90th-minute equaliser.

Alex completed the full 90 minutes for the hosts, while goalkeeper Jordan Archer was on the bench for Millwall.

Aaron Lennon was also on target over the weekend, grabbing his first goal in Everton colours to give the Toffees a 2-1 win at Queens Park Rangers in the Premier League on Sunday. The winger scored from close range 13 minutes from time and completed the full game.

Back in the Championship on Saturday, defender Grant Hall played the full match for Blackpool as they battled out a 1-1 home draw with Leeds United.

In League One, midfielder Grant Ward and centre-half Bongani Khumalo both got 90 minutes under their belts for their respective sides – Grant’s Coventry City losing 3-1 at home to Doncaster Rovers with Bongani and Colchester United drawing 2-2 at Gillingham, the U’s finishing the game with 10 men.

In League Two, forward Shaq Coulthirst played the full game for York City as they drew at Accrington Stanley by the same scoreline, while the points were also shared between Southend United and Cambridge United, defender Dominic Ball going on for the latter side in the 64th minute as the contest at Roots Hall ended without score.

Nathan Oduwa’s Luton Town host Wycombe Wanderers on Tuesday.

In Germany, Lewis Holtby went on as a substitute 15 minutes from the end for Hamburg, as they suffered a 1-0 Bundesliga defeat at home to Hertha Berlin on Friday evening.
