Trailing 2-0 with five minutes to go, midfielder Alex scored from the penalty spot to reduce the deficit, before Moses Odubajo netted a 90th-minute equaliser.
Alex completed the full 90 minutes for the hosts, while goalkeeper Jordan Archer was on the bench for Millwall.
