Dominic Ball saw action for Rangers as they registered a crucial 4-2 victory over nearest rivals Hibernian to go three points clear at the top of the Scottish Championship on Monday.

Our on-loan defender went on as a 74th-minute substitute shortly after his side went down to 10 men and duly helped Mark Warburton’s outfit see out the closing stages of the game at Ibrox. Attacking midfielder Nathan Oduwa was an unused substitute for the hosts.

Two more of our lads found themselves in a similar predicament to Nathan in League Two with young defender Christian Maghoma on the bench for Yeovil Town in their goalless home draw with Oxford United, while winger Kenny McEvoy was an unused substitute for York City as they drew 1-1 at Mansfield Town.

Midfielder Grant Ward will be hoping to feature for Rotherham United when they visit Fulham in the Championship tonight (Tuesday, December 29) while DeAndre Yedlin’s Sunderland host Liverpool in the Premier League tomorrow.
