Adel Taarabt fired QPR to victory at Scunthorpe in the Championship on Saturday.

The Moroccan international forward struck a fine early goal at Glanford Park to secure QPR's 1-0 win.

With just three minutes on the clock, Adel cut in from the right, played a one-two, beat two defenders and rolled the ball into the corner. It was his first goal for QPR this season.

Jake Livermore was also on target - his first goal in league football - but it came in vain as Derby lost their big local at Nottingham Forest.

The young midfielder drove home Derby's second goal as they tried to come back from 3-0 down. Jake played for 78 minutes as it ended 3-2 at the City Ground.

Staying in the Championship, Kyle Walker played 90 minutes as Sheffield United drew 2-2 against West Brom at Bramall Lane.

Jon Obika won a penalty for Yeovil but it was disappointment for our three players in the Glovers' line-up as they went down 2-1 at Huddersfield in League One.

Gavin Tomlin missed the spot kick and the chance to make it 2-0 after Obika was brought down in the box.

Huddersfield hit back to win 2-1. Obika and Steven Caulker both played 90 minutes, Ryan Mason was substituted eight minutes from time.

Andros Townsend played for 54 minutes of Leyton Orient's 2-2 draw against Carlisle at Brisbane Road - the visitors equalising in injury time.

There was also disappointment for Troy Archibald-Henville, he played the full 90 minutes as Exeter lost 2-1 at home to MK Dons.

Ben Alnwick missed out for Norwich at Hartlepool after picking up a nasty gash to the face in collision with former Spurs team-mate Fraizer Campbell in the Canaries' Carling Cup tie against Sunderland last week and Adam Smith didn't feature for Wycombe against Bristol Rovers.
