Our lads on loan at Leyton Orient tasted FA Cup glory this weekend as the League One side caused a Fourth Round upset at Championship Swansea.

Paul-Jose M’Poku came off the bench with 11 minutes remaining and supplied the cross that Swans skipper Alan Tate turned into his own net for the winner in a 2-1 victory.

Harry Kane and Tom Carroll were unused substitutes at the Liberty Stadium and the trio will now be relishing a mouth-watering Fifth Round tie at home to our big rivals Arsenal.

Also in FA Cup action was David Bentley, who chose the perfect time to score the first goal of his loan spell at Birmingham with a belter to spark the Blues’ comeback from 2-0 down to defeat Coventry 3-2 at St Andrew’s.

Kyle Walker is also through to the Fifth Round after Aston Villa defeated Blackburn 3-1 at home. The young right-back put in another typically attacking display.

In league action, David Button came up against Adam Smith as Plymouth took on high-flying Bournemouth at Home Park in League One.

And it was the visitors who moved to within three points of leaders Brighton with a 2-1 win.
