Giovani dos Santos scored again as Ipswich Town beat Coventry City 2-1 at the weekend.

It took the Mexican forward's tally to four goals in eight matches in the Championship - including a derby goal against Norwich.

His latest effort was a 20-yarder in a 63-minute stint for new boss Roy Keane.

Chris Gunter played 90 minutes for Nottingham Forest and went close with a shot as his side beat Southampton 3-1 at the City Ground.

Danny Rose started for Watford and set-up the first goal in a 3-1 win against Derby County at Vicarage Road. He played 77 minutes.

Troy Archibald-Henville was celebrating in League Two. He played his 19th game for Exeter City and his loan spell ended by securing automatic promotion to League One thanks to a 1-0 win at Rotherham.

Three of our young professional met in League One as defender Dorian Dervite got the better of Yuri Berchiche and David Hutton in a 2-0 win for Southend against Cheltenham.

Staying in League One, Jon Obika, Andros Townsend and Danny Hutchins completed their successful spells at Yeovil with a 2-0 loss at home to Colchester. The hard work had already been done though - Obika scored four goals in 10 games including crucial winners in relegation scraps against Swindon and Northampton.

Finally, Tomas Pekhart played 77 minutes in Slavia Prague's latest league game, a 3-3 draw against FK Mlada Boleslav.
