Andros Townsend and Jake Livermore played their part in Ipswich Town's win against Leeds in the Championship.

Both played the full 90 minutes with midfielder Jake setting up Town's opening goal for Jason Scotland, a sidestep in midfield before an inch-perfect pass and winger Andros named man-of-the-match by most pundits after a lively display down the left flank.

Kyle Walker played 90 minutes as QPR maintained their fine start to the Championship.

They made it eight wins and two draws in 10 games so far with a last-minute 2-1 win at Palace on Saturday. Ex-Spur Adel Taarabt scored QPR's opener. Jon Obika, on loan at Palace, remains injured.

Steven Caulker and Danny Rose also both played a full shift as Bristol City suffered a 3-0 home defeat against Norwich City. Danny set-up the Robins' best chance with the score at 2-0, but Lee Johnson's shot came back off the woodwork.

John Bostock was an unused substitute as Hull City played out a goalless draw against Coventry at the KC Stadium.

In League One, Adam Smith had quite an afternoon as Bournemouth lost the game of the day in front of 26,000 fans at Southampton.

The full-back cleared off the line from ex-Spur Lee Barnard in the first half before being punished for a handball, Rickie Lambert slotting home from the penalty spot.

Adam was then sent off after receiving a second yellow card late in the game.

Dean Parrett came off the bench in the 73rd minute of Plymouth's 1-0 home defeat against Hartlepool. Goalkeeper David Button, also on loan at Plymouth, is currently out injured.

Meanwhile, Paul Jose M'poku was an unused substitute as Leyton Orient picked up a 1-1 draw at Oldham.
