As part of the Club’s commitment to the local community, the Club has joined with Haringey Council and local businesses to put on Tottenham's biggest ever Christmas Lights display.
The lights, organised by Haringey's neighbourhood management team, stretch the length of Tottenham High Road, from Sainsbury's in the north to Tesco in the south, as well as in Bruce Grove and West Green Road.
Last week Rohan Ricketts joined Haringey Council Leader Charles Adje to present the leaders of these local businesses with a special certificate of thanks.
Commenting on the day Rohan said: “The Club is very proud to be part of this community and helping out with the Christmas lights is one way we can give something back.”
Councillor Charles Adje commented: "We have a great community spirit in Tottenham and I'm delighted that Spurs and all our other sponsors are helping us celebrate over the festive period.
"We are working hard in Tottenham, and through our neighbourhood assemblies local budgets, our major regeneration plans and the Better Haringey programme delivering a cleaner borough I look forward to seeing real improvements for residents in 2005."
