The striker will link up again with his former England team-mate after the midfielder's move from Liverpool.
Les insists a fit Jamie is up there with the best in the country and that he can now put his well-documented injury problems behind him at Spurs.
"It's a great signing not just for the club, but for Jamie as well," insisted Les, fit again himself after suffering a fractured arm in March.
"Sometimes you can stagnate at a club and we all know he had a lot of problems fitness-wise at Liverpool.
"He had some great times at Liverpool but he's had a difficult spell and a new challenge will do him the world of good.
"A fit Jamie Redknapp is international class and if we can keep him fit, I've no doubts we'll see the best of him again."
Les Ferdinand is convinced we'll see the best of Jamie Redknapp next season.
