Leo's realistic

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Oyvind Leonhardsen takes a realistic stance as to his shelf life in the side after his first Premiership start on Saturday.

Midfielder 'Leo' impressed against Everton, set up Les Ferdinand's goal and drew praise afterwards from Glenn Hoddle.

But he knows with in-form Gus Poyet waiting to return after being rested at the weekend that he might drop to the bench again for Wednesday's Worthington Cup semi-final against Chelsea.

Leo conceded: "I would love to be involved but Gus is back so I have to be realistic. It is an important game for us and we would all love to get the right result and go through."

The Norwegian's box to box work ethic was there for all to see against Everton.

"I felt quite good out there," he said. "It was just great be to be out there in the starting line-up, the first time this season in the league and hopefully I will get more chances.

"I gave everything. I'm training well, keeping my fitness up to be ready if I get a chance and that is all I can do in this situation."
