After being totally depressed following his latest injury setback, Leo now has a bit of a spring in his step as he continues his race to full fitness under the watchful eyes of the physios at Spurs Lodge.
"I’m fine," beamed Leo. "It’s going forward every day. I’m running for one hour and now working with the ball."
Several reports have suggested that Leo has targeted a return against Arsenal in the semi-final but, while he doesn’t rule that scenario out, he would probably need a spot of match practice before that.
"It’s not completely healed, but I’m very pleased," Leo added, before adding teasingly: "Hopefully, I’ll be back in a week or two."
Oyvind Leonhardsen is back on the comeback trail once again. Our full-of-running midfielder was stopped in his tracks by a cruel challenge by Stockport’s Mike Flynn in mid-February, but now has a first team return in his sights.
