His display should earn another start against Poland at Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday night and boss Taylor has been impressed
He said: "This is the first time I have ever worked with Aaron and he is a very good player who wants to keep on improving.
"Every day we have trained, he has been very bright - you would buy a season ticket to watch him, wouldn't you?
"He was outstanding. He got the man of the match award and deserved it. The boy is a real talent. He is very clever and quick and when we got the ball to him in the first-half we looked like we were going to win."
Peter Taylor described Aaron Lennon as 'outstanding' after his debut for England Under-21s against Austria.
