Aaron Lennon was the highest mover in the Actim Index, the official player ratings system of the Barclays Premier League, following his dazzling display against Wigan.

Aaron Lennon was the highest mover in the Actim Index, the official player ratings system of the Barclays Premier League, following his dazzling display against Wigan.

The flying winger scored his first goal of the season in the 4-0 win on his way to an Actim Index score of 42 - by far his best of the campaign - to climb 106 places to 214th in the Index with 62 points overall.

Jermaine Jenas bagged a brace which helped earn him 52 points – his best score of the season – making him the week’s highest scorer and also saw him rise 83 places to 67th in the Index with a total score of 136 points.

The Actim Index is calculated using a unique mathematical formula that rates each player's contribution be it goals, shots, passes, dribbles, tackles, crosses, saves, clearances, blocks, interceptions, assists, clean sheets, time on the pitch or number of points gained by the team with marks deducted for red and yellow cards.
