The full list of this year’s inductees includes – Glenn Hoddle, Billy Meredith, Peter Beardsley, Graeme Souness, Dennis Bergamp (BBC Football Focus Choice), Mark Hughes, Nobby Stiles and Terry Venables.
Each year the names are chosen by an expert panel including Sir Alex Ferguson, Jimmy Greaves, Gary Lineker, Alan Shearer, Mark Lawrenson and Gordon Taylor.
Awards will be presented at the annual ceremony, held this year at Manchester United’s Old Trafford Stadium on November 15. There will also be an award given to Sheffield FC in their 150th anniversary year. Still to be announced is an award for a player with learning and physical disabilities, nominated by the Football Association and a Community Champion award nominated by the Football Foundation.

Lane legends Glenn Hoddle and Terry Venables are to be inducted into the National Football Museum’s Hall of Fame.The pair – who both played for and managed the club – join goalscoring legend Jimmy Greaves in the Hall of Fame.
