Garry Brooke, Paul Miller and Mark Falco are some of the names due to turn out for Spurs in the match, which is being staged in support of PMA Sports Foundation, which helps to aid mental health recovery through sport.
Kick-off is at 3pm, at Hackney Marshes, Hackney, London, E9 5PF.
The lads slipped to a disappointing defeat at St Albans last Sunday as they faced off against a BAM Nuttall XI in a match to raise funds for the British Heart Foundation.
Steve Sedgley, Tony Galvin, Andy Sinton and Clive Wilson were all in action, but they faced an uphill battle after their opponents took a seventh-minute lead.
Sinton later forced a low save from the BAM Nuttall goalkeeper with a free kick having been brought down on the edge of the box, and the midfield maestro would go on to keep his opposing stopper busy all afternoon.
BAM Nuttall caught Spurs on the break midway through the first half, but their attacker’s shot cannoned back off the post.
Six minutes into the second half, Tony Galvin played a clever through ball for Steve Sedgley to run onto, the opposing defence being forced to concede a corner as Sedgley swept in a cross.
Three goals in eight minutes in the lead-up to the hour mark killed the game off, though, as BAM extended their lead to four goals.
The Legends refused to give up, and Sinton stung the palms of the goalkeeper with a fierce shot after a good solo run.
It was Sinton versus the goalkeeper again on 71 minutes after the midfielder was fouled in the box and a penalty was awarded. Sinton’s right footed spot kick was saved, and the midfielder could only hit the bar as he chipped the rebound over the flailing arms of the custodian.
At the other end, Spurs keeper Gareth Howells made a fine one-handed low save to prevent BAM from further stretching their lead.
In the closing stages, Sinton went close with a long range shot, while a header from substitute Andy Edmonds was tipped over the bar by the keeper as BAM secured a 4-0 win.
