Legends attend Dave's funeral

Cliff Jones will lead the tributes at the funeral of Spurs legend Dave Mackay in Edinburgh later today (Tuesday, March 24).

The former Wales international winger will join a group of ex Spurs players at the Remembrance Service at Mansfield Traquire alongside fellow double-wining squad member Terry Medwin.

Clive Allen will represent his father Les with Alan Mullery, Pat Jennings, Phil Beal, Alan Gilzean, Steve Perryman and Mike England also among those in attendance.

The funeral cortege will depart from Tynecastle, home of Dave’s first club Hearts, to the centre of the city where Cliff will deliver the eulogy to his former team mate.

The Club will also be represented by Non-Executive Director Ron Robson and members of staff.
