Lee Young-Pyo played the full match as South Korea kicked-off their World Cup campaign with a 2-1 win against Togo.

Young-Pyo lined-up in his familiar left-back role as South Korea edged past a tough Togo side in Group G.

Togo took the lead in Frankfurt through Mohamed Kader just after the half-hour but Lee Chun-Soo levelled it via a free-kick after 54 minutes before Ahn Jung-Hwan lashed home the winner with 18 minutes remaining.

Young-Pyo, who played 32 times for us last season, returns to action when South Korea tackle France in Leipzig on Sunday, kick-off 8pm.
