The South Korean internationals are so close their families have even been on holiday together in the past, but our left-back now has the bragging rights in the friendship.
For Lee the result also more than made up for us being denied the three points against our London rivals at Craven Cottage back in September.
He said: “It was good to get the result, especially against my friend! We met before the match and we were talking about the game, but he wasn’t in the mood to talk about it afterwards!
“I can remember the game against Fulham earlier in the season when we were 3-1 up but let in two goals, so it was a much better performance this time around.”
Our 5-1 win over Fulham on Boxing Day was extra special for Young-Pyo Lee, as he put one over his best mate Seol Ki-Hyeon.
