Young-Pyo Lee could be faced with the unenviable task of stopping Cristiano Ronaldo on Sunday – but our full-back has no fear.

Lee admits you would be hard-pushed to find a better player than the Manchester United winger at the moment, but he insists our defence will be more than ready for him in our FA Cup fourth round tie.

The South Korean international said: “I think everybody would agree that Ronaldo is the best player in the world at the moment. But if we stick together as a defence, and not give him any space, we can stop him.

“He’s got everything; power, speed, technique, and also a lot of confidence, so we have to keep tight and stop him playing.”

Lee could also be up against fellow countryman and former PSV Eindhoven team-mate Ji-Sung Park in the clash, but any friendships will be put aside for the game.

He added: “Ji-Sung’s come back from a serious injury and he has been working very hard to recover. He looks fully fit again.

“He’s a very talented footballer and has got a lot to offer. Personally, the best outcome would be if he has a good game but we still win!”
