Our stylish defender was part of the critically-acclaimed second half team of youngsters who fought their way back into the game from a 2-0 half-time deficit before losing 3-1.
It was Ledley's second cap and he's hoping if he can maintain his form at Spurs he might just squeeze into the squad for the vital Euro 2004 qualifiers against Liechtenstein and Turkey in March and April.
He was also pleased to pull on the shirt again after injury and illness had forced him out of recent squads.
Ledley said: "Once I got the call I was just hoping nothing would go wrong this time. It was nice to be out there again.
"We always knew we were going to play the second half and that gave us the chance to prepare.
"We didn't have anything to lose and went out and gave it our best shot. I thought we did okay.
"There are a lot of players and it will be hard for all of us to break into the squad but we were all glad to get that opportunity."
Ledley King was delighted to get the chance to further his England claims in Wednesday's friendly against Australia.
