Ledley King's last England call was a pain in the neck - this time he's hoping for a first senior cap.
Our outstanding defensive prospect is tipped to make his full debut in Wednesday's friendly against Italy at Elland Road after missing out with tonsillitis against Holland last time out.
Ledley in theVideo Lounge- looking ahead to a possible England debut!
Ledley, who has missed just one game all season, joined up with Sven Goran Eriksson's squad alongside Teddy Sheringham after Sunday's Premiership victory at Fulham.
Still just 21, Ledley insisted: "Personally, I was determined to go away with a win. It's been a good week and hopefully it will continue.
"I was disappointed not to be well for the last game but fingers crossed, I might get an opportunity this time. It's an important game and I'd love to be involved."
Eriksson has hinted that Ledley will feature. "It’s important that he has another chance to show us what he can do," said the England chief on naming the squad on Saturday.
Ledley had some club business to attend to before joining up with Eriksson's men and walked out of Craven Cottage a happy man after our 2-0 win.
"We came here determined to keep a clean sheet," said Ledley, who performed well in an unfamiliar right-back role. "It's the first time we've had a bit of luck for a while and that set us on the way.
"We scored again straight after and we knew they would come at us but we all defended superbly."
