Ledley's back

Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs) Football Club is located in North London. The club is also known as Spurs. Tottenham's home ground is White Hart Lane. The club motto is Audere est Facere (To dare is to do).

Caretaker boss David Pleat revealed this afternoon that Ledley King is back in the squad for Sunday's trip to Leicester City.

The defender has been out since the defeat at Chelsea in September with a hamstring injury.

Helder Postiga is doubtful with stiffness at the top of his hamstring after taking a knock playing for Portugal and Christian Ziege remains out although he's scheduled for his third reserve outing on Monday.

Anthony Gardner is suspended while Jamie Redknapp (knee) and Simon Davies (thigh) are sidelined.

David reported: "Ledley's in the squad but it's touch and go whether or not he will play.

"Gary Doherty is also in the squad, as are John Jackson and OJ Mabizela, who has just come back from playing for South Africa against Costa Rica.

"I don't envisage too many changes from the last game although Anthony Gardner is suspended, so we've one enforced change to make.

"Postiga may miss out, nothing too serious and Zamora missed training with a sore knee but he should be okay."

Meanwhile, David moved to clarify the situation regarding our search for a new manager, following stories in today's papers.

Director of Football David added: "Any comment regarding likely new managers or preferred candidates is pure speculation at this stage. The Club is continuing to review all the options. As soon as we have something to report we shall make sure our fans are the first to hear the news."
