The skipper made his first appearance of the season at Old Trafford after recovering from a knee injury, a problem he revealed caused him no further concern. He did receive treatment in the second half, but it was nothing more serious than cramp.
"I went up for a header and came down with cramp," said Ledley. "I didn't want to go down, but I was in a situation where I wouldn't have been able to move properly so I had to.
"It is not a problem. The knee is fine and hopefully that is behind me - it is now a case of playing games and getting fitness. The gaffer said it was five months since my last full Premiership game and that seems like a long time.
"I've been preparing to come back for a little while now and I was focused on a doing a job. I managed to get through it."
Ledley King reported a clean bill of health after making his comeback in Saturday's encounter with Manchester United.
